War on Terror Memorial - Commonwealth of KentuckyIn order to honor all Kentuckians who have served in the armed forces in the War on Terror, Doyle Glass will sculpt the "War on Terror Memorial - Commonwealth of Kentucky". The memorial will feature an eight foot bronze statue of a serviceman as he would appear on patrol in Iraq. The statue will stand on a five foot granite base. A plaque on the base of the monument will list the names of those Kentuckians who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The memorial is to be placed in a prominent location in Kentucky. The monument will serve as a reminder for generations to come of the sacrifice made by others for our freedom. Please check back often for updates on this project.
