"Lions of Medina" - The Upcoming BookA riveting book on the Vietnam war by Doyle Glass Lions of Medina is a result of a long held desire of mine to honor the men and women who fought for our freedom in Vietnam. The genesis of the book began in August of 2002. That summer, I found an old family photo album. I found a picture of myself from July of 1967. Five years old, grinning from ear to ear, I stood on my grandmother's front porch wearing a plastic army helmet and holding a plastic rifle. My brothers and I would run around the house playing GI Joe. Even at that young age, I knew that there were real men and women fighting and dying in Vietnam.
